Happy Thanksgiving!
Sorry been hella busy the last few weeks- Had my BFF here from Hawaii so between that and work we have been so darn busy! Its been nice to have him here the last 2 weeks for sure. Its like old times running around town, staying up late and such....We do have to thank our blessings as we have spent so much time together this year! He is here for another week but went to stay with his mom and other friends this week for the holiday... Will hook back this weekend before he leaves next week. We are looking forward to turkey day tomorrow and just chilling with good friends. We got a 22lbs turkey and I think it is the biggest one we have got in awhile... Its a BIG BUGGA!!! Were invited to a few dinners so we will do rounds of visits- Dinner is close to home and then some visits to do dessert etc. Wanted to have a quiet one at home with the kids but we decided to take a few offers on our friends invites. My family has shrunk as we are now on year 2 without my mom and now that my dad has moved back home in Hawaii its going to be a bit strange to not have dinner with my parents and at the house. It will be a first.... So many fond memories there. As a matter of fact I rented out the house and just last night gave the keys to the renter. Its hard to put into words how I feel about that home. I am hopeful that they will take care of it.
I have so much to be thankful for this year! We are happy and healthy and surrounded by good people and life is better than it has been for a long time. Things seem so much more appropriate and our direction though kinda not as laid out as it once was in the past is less stressful and much more loving. I so miss my mom so much on holidays..its hard! I take comfort in the fact that she is watching over me and my life today is guided by her hand from heaven....I feel her around me all the time.

Or in this case above Ah ah ah! It has been so fricken insanely busy!! My dad moved to Hawaii so we have been taking care of getting his house here ready to rent so we have been cleaning and painting and all that stuff....then we are helping friends with some remodel of a farm when we can.... and then we started watching a 4 year old boy on the weekdays a few weeks ago.....We really have had no time to catch our breaths the last month or so....We are REALLY enjoying watching our little guy. Its like having a our own son. He would rather stay with the uncles then go home! LOL... Damm ... no time to even blog these days..... My best bud arrived from Hawaii last night and he is here all week with us as well which I will enjoy! His mama has lung surgery today so I wish he was here under better circumstances......I am just glad we are here for support....so this is my BFF and we stayed with him and his partner for 2 weeks in May and then 2 weeks in Sept in Hawaii... Now he is here in Seattle this week... He said when we picked him up last night....Wow long time no see! Which we all chuckled..... It is wonderful to see him thats for sure though... Ok Im out...Had only 4 hours of sleep! I need to go take a nap....wait the boy is over in a hour or so.... Ok time to get the coffee....
Rad Homos Halloween Home...
This is our home on Halloween... Out neighbor snapped this pic on Monday night... Our neighborhood loves that we decorate for most of the holidays.... Halloween is our fave so we have a lot of fun dong it and go a bit crazy. As a kid I went ape shit over houses that were decorated and my mom used to say when I grow up she could just imagine how I would decorate my house....She was so right! LOL! I love that all the kids like the gay guys house! This year we made approx 80 plus trick o treat bags and ran out by 830... It was a busy night! Most popular boy costume was Captain America with Transformers running a close second.... For the girls it was princesses and witches....My fave was a dude who was a gruesome zombie in a cheerleader outfit... Well on to Thanksgiving..... We our mellow for Turkey time...Just a 9 foot blow up turkey is all....

Sometimes you just know who is going to be the next THANG.. Us boys have them pegged early on and they are on our radars much before the general population... These two gents have caught our eye in the last few years and they are BOTH on the brink of major exposure! Above is my fave at the moment Colton Haynes-- First saw him on The Gates and lately on Teen Wolf.... Bark at the moon indeed! Then we have Logan Lerman below... Logan is that cute type Kinda a Zac Efron/Tom Cruise rip off.... He has been around awhile but is about to explode...Not usually my type..So pretty... BUT I predict a MAJOR explosion soon! Congrats boys and good luck with your fame which is about to go BANANAS for you!

Loving this new show!!! It reminds us how it USED to be back in the day to fly as a passenger and how it was quite glamorous to be a stewardess and prestigious to be a pilot or cabin crew. I remember having to dress up to fly with my granny and I loved going on the 747--it was quite special.. Nowadays flying has become like a train or bus-- dare I saw it will one day be like a cab? Anyhow love this show and I think the ladies on this show are so very hot! I love everything about it...and how can you resist Mike Vogel below who plays the captain as well? SWOON! I hope it makes it and gets the fan it needs to make it...I am a big fan for sure!

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for aREASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that once our need has been met and our desires fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it as it is real, but only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Its October 1- and fall is in the air! We are back from vacation and made sure to get our sunshine and beach in. Hawaii was awesome as always.... Weather has changed in the last day or so---we had our last 70 degree day on Thursday....Now its cool cloudy and rainy.... I do love fall though...Its a beautiful time of year....I think I am going to start decorating this week too. I did put up the fall wreath yesterday. Hubby and I was talking when we came back this week and how we would miss Seattle if we did move back to the islands....we just wish we could live in Seattle for Spring Summer and Fall.... And live in Hawaii for the winter.... How ideal would that be? Oh well time to go through the 15 boxes of fall and Halloween decor....Fun!!!
New Hobby
Spent the day paddle boarding yesterday at a Lake Angle down the street from us. My cuz and her hubby have been after us to go all summer...Its been hot and sunny here so we went. OMG! We had such a awesome time!!! At first hubby and I thought no way can we balance on them but it was ok and after awhile we were cruising on them. We are going to go again this Friday as its suppose to be hot all week. So much fun! Major workout though and my bod feels it today. We are going to rent them when we go back to Hawaii next week for sure. We want to try to paddle to Chinamans Hat....
Hey Doggies!
Who-wee! What a weekend! We had a function every night so we had 4 nights in a row of debauchery this long holiday weekend! Friday we checked out a new gay bar close to home and that was cool-- it was nice to spend sometime with some old friends Sat was the Hubby's bday...So I pulled together a last minute BBQ and it turned out super awesome! It was a full house. We had about 40 guest in the backyard..... even our kids had a great time as everyone brought there kids and doggies too! We had 9 dogs running about!!!. You can tell we are all such dog lovers that's for sure! Good times! We all had to relax on Sunday morn-- our kids were knocked out! Then went fishing later in the afternoon and then round three as we had another BBQ on Sunday night to attend.
Yesterday we spent the day at Angle Lake-chilling in the sunshine and lake and had a weenie roast lunch! Then last night my sis came over for the tail end of this busy and intense labor day weekend and we just relaxed and caught up with each other enjoying cocktails on a warm evening our lanai/patio. Needless to say it was a busy ass weekend....But so awesome!
Today its back to our regularly scheduled life... Whoopie-doo! But there is a light at the end of this tunnel! We leave for HAWAII next Friday! Double Who-wee!

The new Superman looks super duper eh? Im liking Henry as the new Man of Steel! So happy Sept 1st. Looking forward to a holiday weekend to celebrate the hubby's b day and hang with family and friends. We were going camping but that fizzled--So was going to go to the coast with kids but since it was so late to make arrangements it was crazy so we just decided to stay home and chill. So my big decision is what kind of cake to order today- hubby wants Dobash Or Chantilly which are Hawaiian cakes..hmmmmm....Other than that headed to the farmers market later this am with our gal pals...Its become a daily thing this summer every Thursday we meet for coffee and then head over to the farmers market and hang. Good times! Later this afternoon I need to give the kids a bath- The 2 older ones love to bath but the little one hates it. They need to be clean for Daddys birthday weekend!
